Call for Papers 2001


Original submissions in all areas related to the conference theme are invited. The official language of the conference is English. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching Practices
  • Educational Technology
  • Distance Education
  • Virtual Universities
  • CS Education Research
  • Educational Software
  • Tools for Visualization or Concretization

Submission Guidlines

The authors are requested to submit one page abstract before September 15, 2001. All contributions should be sent via email to Jarkko Suhonen, Abstracts should be in a format that is easy to print for example PDF, Latex, Word.

The abstracts will be printed and handed over to participants at the beginning of the conference. Therefore the abstracts can be written more like summaries of the paper than just plain abstracts. There can be references and even pictures in an abstract if that is appropriate for the subject.

Final Papers

After the conference the authors have approximately one month to write their final papers. The papers will be published in Proceedings of Kolin Kolistelut - Koli Calling. Final papers should be returned due November 23, 2001 in LATEX format to Marja Kuittinen,
