Original submissions in all areas related to the conference theme are invited. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Review process and Publication
The conference wishes to promote research in the field of computer science education. Therefore papers in the research paper category will be rigorously reviewed by three members of the program committee, to make them acceptable, for example, to be included in CS education doctoral theses. Moreover, the best research papers will be published in the international journal Informatics in Education during 2005.
Discussion papers, demos and posters will be reviewed by two members of the program committee.
All contributions are published in the printed proceedings by the Helsinki University of Technology that will appear after the conference. Comments and suggestions on the papers which are given during the conference, should be incorporated into the final version.
The authors are requested to submit their proposals latest in
August 26, 2004.
or by mail to
Professor Lauri Malmi
The authors will receive the notification of the acceptance latest by September 9th, 2004.All participants will receive a pre-proceedings in the conference. Revised papers for that version should be returned due September 24, 2004 in LATEX format to Lauri Malmi, firstname.lastname@example.org. Reviewers' comments should be incorporated in the revised version, if possible.
Final papers for the final proceedings should be returned by the end of October including comments and suggestions made in the conference, as well.
The LATEX-template for the Proceedings of Kolin Kolistelut can be obtained here. The LATEX-template must be used for the final papers to make the publication process smoother.
